Cleveland, Ohio, offers travelers plenty of exciting activities and events this spring, summer and beyond.
Cleveland plays host to numerous music festivals this spring and summer. The largest Indian classical music festival outside of India, Thyagaraja Festival took place earlier this month. The Cleveland Orchestra presents a summer concert series at Blossom Music Center. The 44th annual Tri-C JazzFest takes place June 22–24.
Juneteenth
Cleveland commemorates Juneteenth with the MetroHealth Juneteenth Freedom Fest. The event includes a variety of performances, discussions, interactive art demonstrations, food and more. The festival takes place June 16–17.
April marks one year until the 2024 solar eclipse. Cleveland will be in the path of totality, making it an ideal destination to experience the phenomenon. The NASA Glenn Research Center hosted a countdown kickoff event earlier this month. Various other preview events take place leading up to the eclipse.
New Food and Beverage Options
The Judith offers diners a Parisian café experience. Poppy comes from a James Beard award-nominated chef. Wolf Pack Chorus is a modern brasserie located in a historic carriage house building. Lake Erie Scoops serves a variety of frozen treats, including ice cream bars inspired by ice cream truck classics. Hungarian restaurant Balaton recently reopened. Banter specializes in homemade sausages and Quebec-style poutine. Doinks Burger Joint and Seltzer Bar began during the pandemic, when two local chefs served burgers from their garage. The new brick-and-mortar restaurant will feature burgers, vegetarian options and alcoholic seltzers.
