Siestas are common after dinner in Spain, so don’t expect the club to start bumping until 1 a.m. Barcelona is particularly great for clubbing, where parties routinely run until sunrise.
Nitsa
Every weekend, an old Barcelona theater called Sala Apolo hosts Nitsa, a hot, claustrophobic club that specializes in house and techno.
Moog Club
Located near La Rambla, Moog Club is a dual-personality venue that caters to both sides of electronic music. The upstairs Mirror Room features the pop-style dance music while the lower level is much grungier and dedicated to underground electronic DJs.
Macarena Club
Whether it’s New York, Vegas or Ibiza, few clubs are as exclusive as Macarena Club. The venue famously has a capacity of 81 people and is usually helmed by a team of in-house DJs with the occasional guest label. It’s also open seven days a week if you want to do some weekday dancing.
Razzmatazz
There’s something here for everyone. Razzmatazz is a sprawling five-room club in the El Poublenou: indie rock in Razz Club, techno in The Loft and Lolita, pop and electro in Pop Room and Rex Room.
La Terrrazza
La Terrrazza is located on the side of historic Montjuic, the location of Barcelona’s annual Sonar festival and one of the best places for a night out in the summer.
Elrow
Unlike most clubs, Elrow sets itself apart by throwing just one event a month, allowing them to fully transform the venue into a unique experience every time.
Kubic
You’ve heard of pop-up restaurants, well here’s a pop-up club. Kubik operates in Barcelona, Berlin and Lisbon, setting up a modular, open-air club throughout the summer.
