Since the legalization of marijuana in Colorado, businesses have popped up throughout the state and have been capitalizing on this newfound interest and hobby that caters to both locals and tourists. Case and point is a bed and breakfast in downtown Denver with a mile-high theme, emphasis on the high.
Bud and Breakfast opened in 2014 and has enjoyed prominent success ever since. The marijuana themes are ever present from the wake-and-bake breakfasts to the daily happy hour at 4:20, the latter of which features complimentary beer and wine, snacks and the option to partake in other recreational activities with ingredients that guests must bring on their own. The lodging also provides cannabis-friendly spa therapies including massages where the herb is used as a topical ingredient in the oil.
The company now owns three lodging facilities in three cities in Colorado — Denver, Colorado Springs and Silverthorne — with plans for more locations in the future. The facility in Colorado Springs is an 11-room lodge and offers more room to spread out and mingle with other visitors. In addition to social activities on site, the lodges also offer daytrips to local breweries or ski trips to nearby ski resorts. If you´re looking to relax and take a few deep breaths on your next vacation, a bud and breakfast may meet your holiday needs.
