Kickstarter is full of awesome new products and inventions. Here are the latest we love for all of your travel needs.
Enki Stove Wild
For the campers, backpackers and nature-lovers, there is Enki Stove Wild. This is a camp stove that leaves out the charcoal, gas and smoke. It can use any kind of dry biomass to create the heat you need to cook. Throw in a few twigs and you’re good to go. The device actually uses the smoke produced by the burning twigs to create a gas that will burn while you cook, dramatically reducing your carbon footprint.
VAGO
VAGO is one of those things you didn’t know you needed until you suddenly do. This device will compress all of your soft materials you’re packing into your suitcase, leaving you with even more room to pack more stuff. It will compress your soft items (namely, clothes) up to 50 percent, with a handheld vacuum compressor. It also prevents any odors from escaping the bag, making it great for dirty laundry.
SleepSentinel
SleepSentinel will keep you safe in even the most questionable of hostels, at least where fire and carbon monoxide are concerned. This easily portable device can be thrown into your carry-on and then turned on once you reach your hotel room. Place it anywhere in your room and if smoke or carbon monoxide is detected at any time a loud alarm will sound.
Life Wipes
Not being able to shower is just an unfortunate truth that sometimes comes with travel, whether you’re camping, backpacking or just stuck at the airport for an absurd amount of time. Life Wipes will help you clean up more conveniently. The two-foot towel comes in small packaging, and is made with eco-friendly materials that are biodegradable. They’re safe for sensitive skin, with aloe vera and Vitamin E. In other words, it’s a good way to freshen up when you really need it.
