Redding is also home to many popular restaurants. Open since 1938, Damburger is a Redding institution. The founder started selling burgers out of a tent near a hiring hall. Today, Damburger still serves classic burgers, but in more permanent digs.

Jack’s Bar & Grill is another Redding mainstay. Built in the 1930s, the restaurant maintains its retro vibe and classic steaks. Unsure what to eat? Head to The Park, a food truck hub. Located in downtown Redding, The Park hosts up to six local food trucks at a time, offering a mix of cuisines. The space features games, firepits and live music, perfect for hanging out with friends.
