Sometimes the best adventure happens on two wheels. If you’re aching for an exciting traveling trip, but don’t want to leave your bike back home, consider exploring the northwestern state of Rajasthan, India, through G Adventure’s Rajasthan Cycling tour.
You’ll spend 15 days cycling around the state in a circle from Delhi and back. Along the way you’ll see off-the-map locales and villages, camel safaris and a multitude of bazaars to choose from. Famous landmarks you’ll cycle by include the Taj Mahal and the famous Pink City. Don’t worry, though, you’ll also get the opportunity to be up close and personal with many of the locals along the way.
Pedal across forts and remnants of towns that used to be major cities in the region while you take in the sounds and smells of the region. This trip isn’t for the faint of heart; a high level of athleticism is required to cycle across the Indian terrain. Due to this, there are limits on who can join. The max group limit is 12 and the physical requirements are listed as demanding. Children under 12 are not allowed to attend this tour, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The trip has varying dates and the cost is $1,699.
