Dolly Varden clothing company doesn’t have a slew of options in their lineup, but what items they do have are simply outstanding. It’s clear they know their audience — young, outdoorsy shoppers who want to look good while being active, but also don’t want to spend a fortune doing so — and have carefully curated their collection to appeal to this group.

Their gorgeous selection includes the women’s Rivadavia shirts, which are meant to be “stylish enough for the workplace but has the technical features you expect for your after work life,” an accurate description. The shirts come in appealing gingham and plaid patterns and are extremely comfortable while also looking stylish.

The pocketed shirts are constructed of a lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking fabric that also has anti-odor and SPF properties — an impressive set of specs for this price point. They’re extremely well constructed, with careful attention paid to minor details. One slight drawback is the shirts are not tailored with a feminine cut, so they tend to look a little baggy on small frames. That’s perfect if that’s what you’re going for, but that aspect isn’t readily apparent in the pictures, so it’s not something you’d likely notice until you got the shirt home and tried it on.

For something thicker, opt for the similarly styled Wasatch Shirt, which comes in a mid-weight flannel.
