These days, it’s all about being mobile, which means if you don’t have a laptop just yet, you’re living in the Dark Ages. That being said, it can be challenging to find the perfect laptop if you have a small budget. Google has come to the rescue for those of us who aren’t interested in spending hundreds on a laptop with its Chromebook.
Starting at $199, the Chromebook can fit into virtually anyone’s budget. The Chromebook was developed to cater to those who want to get things done, whether they’re at home, at the office or on the go. Google initially introduced it back in 2011, and it runs the search engine giant’s operating system.
Some of its key features include built-in virus protection, Google Drive for seamless file storage and automatic upgrades.
The catch with the Chromebook is that it solely runs Google applications, such as Chrome, Drive and Maps. However, this laptop is perfect if you’re looking for something that can handle a wide range of media and give you Internet on the go.
The Chromebook is available in different models from companies including HP, Acer and Samsung. This gives consumers variety when it comes to purchasing a Chromebook that suits their needs in terms of weight and dimension.
