Fans of nature should visit Albufera National Park, which offers plenty of opportunities to disconnect, and enjoy sunsets, boat rides, walks and more. The park is a coastal wetland with rich biodiversity and home to paddy fields, sandbars, a beach and a lake. Visitors can tour the park on a bicycle route that runs through the paddy fields, explore the ports and wander through fishing villages. The Albufera Bus Turístic offers a sightseeing tour and boat ride where guests can bird watch. Fans of bird watching must also visit The Racó de I’Olla Interpretation Centre, which has observatories and an observation tower to see a panoramic view of the park.

Just down the road from city center is La Malvarrosa Beach, which has inspired great artists from famous Spanish singer Antonio Vega to writer Manuel Vincent. The beach includes fitness courses, volleyball nets and water sports like surfing, paddle boarding, windsurfing and kayaking. After a day at the beach, grab a bite at Marina Beach Club or Casa Carmela.
Turia Gardens is the largest urban park in all of Spain and the green lungs of Valencia. The park expands over six miles, connecting Parque de la Cabecera to the City of Arts and Sciences. Guests can enjoy cycling, outdoor cafés, mini golf and a variety of flowers.
