The EleUke Peanut is a Bluetooth-equipped ukulele designed for travel. The tiny instrument is a compact soprano-scale electric ukulele great for practice or for impressing your international friends.
The ukulele has a slim, peanut-shaped profile and fits easily into a large backpack. The wood is mahogany for a smooth finish with no resonant chamber in the body. There’s also an active pickup/preamp system and a quarter-inch jack in which to plug an amp. The designers also threw in a jack for headphones in case you only want to serenade yourself. Inside the Peanut is a battery that can be recharged using a USB charging point. Fully charged, the battery has a life of up to 10 hours.
The Peanut connects to Bluetooth through the click of a button. The connection is only one way, so you can’t send a signal from the ukulele to your phone. The instrument also comes with a strap included for support and a bag to store it in when not in use.
