Are you a traveling foodie desperate to take your next cruise after a long last few years of cruising disruptions? You might want to plan a last-minute cruise with Holland America Line and take advantage of the cruise line’s remaining 2022 culinary cruises.
Holland America Line’s culinary cruises typically feature a celebrity chef guest of honor from the line’s Culinary Council, hosting cooking demonstrations and special dinners during the cruise. The chef’s signature dishes are also available throughout the cruise ship’s restaurants during the entire cruise itinerary.

For the rest of the year, Holland America Line offers three remaining culinary cruises. A seven-day Mexican Riviera cruise sets sail from San Diego, California, Nov. 12–19, with Rudi Sodamin, the cruise line’s master chef, taking center stage. You may know Sodamin for his famous “food faces,” featured both on the cruise line and in his coffee table book by the same name. Iron Chef and Top Chef alum David Burke joins cruisers for an early December Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale, Dec. 4–11. Last up, another Caribbean December cruise from Fort Lauderdale, Dec. 17–27, welcomes Andy Matsuda from the Sushi Chef Institute.
“Holland America Line’s culinary program is guided by some of the world’s foremost talents, and no other cruise line has this level of experience from such a team of experts,” said Michael Stendebach, vice president of food, beverage and guest services, Holland America Line. “It’s not every day you learn a recipe directly from the famous chef who created it and hear their secrets to success in the kitchen. We have been eager to reengage our talented Culinary Council chefs to come back on board and offer guests this exclusive level of access.”
