Philadelphia’s No. 1 Irish-themed pub crawl is back again this year, taking partygoers to some of the most popular bars in Philadelphia to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day in the city.
Known as one of the wildest bus crawls in Philadelphia, the Erin Express starts at Crabby Café in the Piazza of the Northern Liberties area of the city. From there, buses depart at noon, transporting revelers to bars around Philadelphia and to the Art Museum steps for a fun run up the historic steps.
In addition to Crabby Café, popular bars participating in the shenanigans this year include Gunner’s Run, the Bridge, Voltage, Kings Oak and McFadden’s.
The bus crawls are taking place March 7 and 14, offering shuttle buses from each location every 30 minutes from 12–9 p.m.
General admission fare grants participants access to all the bars on the bus crawl, unlimited bus transportation and beer and drink specials. Guests can also purchase VIP wristbands for a two-hour open beer bar at Crabby Café from 12–2 p.m. as well as special line access.
Ticketholders to the March 14 event receive the added perk of complimentary entry to the McPattysfest, featuring live music from bands such as Secret Service, Go Go Gadjet, Split Decision and Bryen from Mr. Greengenes.
