If you’re a member of Expedia’s One Key loyalty program, you may want to check out the program’s brand-new, travel-focused credit cards: One Key Card and the One Key-plus Card from Wells Fargo.
The cards’ primary benefit? You can earn OneKeyCash through card usage, which can then be used to book travel through Expedia, Hotels.com or Vrbo.
The One Key Card, with no annual fee, allows you to earn 3 percent in OneKeyCash on Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo purchases (though platinum-tier One Key members can earn more), as well as at gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants. You’ll earn 1.5 percent OneKeyCash everywhere else.
The current sign-up bonus gives you $400 in OneKeyCash if you spend $1,000 on the card in the first three months. The card also comes with trip protection insurance and no foreign transaction fees.
The One Key-plus Card does come with a $99 annual fee, but you’ll earn 2 percent in OneKeyCash on all purchases that do not earn 3 percent as detailed above. You’ll also get $600 in OneKeyCash after spending $3,000 in purchases in the first three months, and an automatic $100 in OneKeyCash every year. Statement credits for Global Entry and TSA PreCheck are also available.
“As we celebrate one year of One Key launching in the U.S., we are excited to offer travelers the new One Key credit cards, further delivering on our mission to make travel more rewarding and flexible, and helping travelers achieve higher tiers for more rewards, faster,” said Katrina Lane, senior vice president of Traveler Engagement and Loyalty, Expedia Group.
