Seneca Lake, in New York’s Finger Lakes region, entices travelers with fall fun. With a lineup of events throughout the season, now is the perfect time to plan your trip.

Anthony Road Wine Company hosts local food trucks for its Lunch on the Lawn on Saturdays throughout fall. For a more intimate option, attend Sunday Suppers, a three-course, family-style dinner.

Fulkerson Winery opens its farm to visitors in the fall for grape and apple picking. For another in-depth experience, visit Three Brothers Wineries and Estates for a selection of guided immersive tours.

On select Fridays in October, Fox Run Vineyards hosts a food and wine experience. Following a wine tour and tasting, Chef Brad Holland serves up a plate of seven tasty bites alongside a flight of seven Fox Run Vineyards wine, all served in the winery’s historic barrel room.

In November, Idol Ridge Winery presents the release of its fourth annual Marquette Nouveau red wine, inspired by Beaujolais Nouveau.

Once the weather gets cooler, several wineries on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail offer mulled wine. This warm beverage traditionally includes red wine, spices and fruit or a cinnamon stick as a garnish. Atwater Vineyards, Idol Ridge Winery and Toast Winery each offer mulled wine.
