Tasc Performance advertises the “extreme comfort” of its clothing, and that description is apt: The fabric, a unique fiber made from bamboo, is incredibly soft, with a nice stretch that makes for a flattering fit and for a nice give when you’re exercising.
The fabric is extremely lightweight and sports UPF of 50, said to protect you from almost 100 percent of the sun’s rays. It’s also moisture-wicking, anti-odor and breathable, all impressive considering this isn’t wool or something engineered in a lab.
Tasc Performance creates garments for men and women, including plus sizes. The women’s Rib It Jacket is a ¼-zip garment as thin as a shirt, but it works well in keeping you warm — yet breathing well — during heavy exercise. It’s also super soft, like the other Tasc products, so if you’re sitting on a plane for a long flight, you’ll be comfortable.
The jacket features thumb loops, so the sleeves come down to cover the bulk of your palm, making it great for running or playing a sport in chilly weather. What’s more, the garment features stylish flourishes like ruching on the sides and ribbing at the cuffs.
