Head to VivoCity, Singapore’s largest shopping mall, and peruse through seemingly endless storefronts and boutiques. Located in the southernmost point of Bukit Merah district, VivoCity provides harbor-side views amid the sprawling shopping venue.
The Paragon on Orchard Road boasts 20 floors of upscale shopping with nearly 200 stores and services. It’s a good thing the shopping center remains open until 10 p.m. Shop high-end brands from Salvatore Ferragamo to Gucci or stop in the art gallery for exhibits such as Images of China and Lalique.
With more than 170 stops for shops, food and services, Junction 8 Shopping Center is quite popular with the locals. Located in the center of Bishan, Junction 8 is in a prime location for visitors to beat the heat with some retail therapy.
While in Singapore, check out Bugis Street. This tourist destination attracted visitors from all over in the 1950–80s. Still bustling with activity, Bugis Street is lined wall to wall with shopping stalls and activity.
