The Chicago Blues Festival kicks off in early June and is a free, Millennium Park-set festival celebrating the past, present and future of the music genre. The largest free blues festival in the world, it’s not to miss, through June 12.
If hip-hop is more your taste, you’ll want to buy tickets stat for this hip-hop music festival, with performances from top names in the biz, such as Wiz Khalifa and Post Malone. Get access to three stages over three days, June 17–19, with tickets starting at $275.
Taking place the same weekend, Chicago Pride Fest, June 17–19, centers around Northalsted, the oldest official gay neighborhood not just in Chicago, but in the entire United States. Check the website for full details on all the great programming happening that weekend.
Wrapping things up at the end of the month is Pride in the Park. The outdoor music fest in Grant Park features LGBTQ+ performers over two days, June 25–26. Tickets start at $100. Performers this year include The Chainsmokers, Daya and Rebecca Black.
