Bringing people together to exercise, play a sport or work out is new fitness app called Jaha.
Described as the “Tinder for Fitness Enthusiasts,” the world’s largest location-based mobile app is designed for avid fitness enthusiasts on the road looking for a fellow fitness buddy to run with, play a sport with, hit the course with or to enjoy any other kind of fitness activity.
After signing up, users fill out a profile section identifying their interests and can interact with other users and connect to participate in fitness activities together. You can see who is around you and swipe right or left to get started.
In addition to helping users find fitness friends, the app also easily tracks all day activity right on your mobile phone, including steps, distance and where you’ve been with GPS mapping. Users can view their daily activity breakdown in timelines for each category.
The app also features customizable challengers, enabling users to choose whom they want to challenge, the duration and the goals as well as motivate one another on the Smack Board.
Jaha is available for free on the Apple App Store.
Whether you are looking for a hiking partner, someone to play tennis with, a fourth player for golf or a yoga partner, Jaha can help you meet a fitness friend.
