Europe’s first evian spa just opened, located at Hotel Royal in Evian-les-Bains, France. While you might know the brand name due to the bottled mineral water, the spa aims to capture the benefits of mountain-sourced evian mineral water and combine them with luxurious spa treatments for a one-of-a-kind experience.
One of only a handful of evian spas in the world, Hotel Royal’s evian spa features six treatment rooms with natural views, and every design element attempts to capture the aesthetic of the natural water cycle. Communal wet areas include an outdoor hydro-circuit, snow room, cold pool, traditional sauna, steam room, aqua bar and indoor pool.
Spa treatments fall into four categories based on the water cycle and reflecting the celestial origins of rain and snowfall, the mineral-based journey of water traversing mountain landscapes, the concentration of water in reservoirs, and the springing forth of water from the earth.
“The concept is aligned with Hôtel Royal tradition which, in addition to its pioneering role in European spa history, approaches wellness as a whole, mirroring what our teams have been striving to convey to our clients for over a hundred years,” commented François Dussart, deputy CEO, Evian Resort.
