Unfortunately, New Year’s resolutions are as easy to break as to make. This New Year, resolve to keep your resolutions by using your smartphone.
For nutrition tracking and calorie counting, try MyFitnessPal’s free app. The easy-to-use application allows users to search from an online database of food or input their own recipes manually or directly from web pages.
The SparkPeople App is similar to MyFitnessPal, but includes a more interactive, community-based experience. Users gain virtual rewards for meeting their goals and can share encouraging words with others.
For a more comprehensive health tracker, try WellnessFX. This app presents bio-data from blood tests in a user-friendly manner. Although the prospect of a voluntary blood test may make some balk, the app is a useful tool for fitness and health enthusiasts.
For non-specific goals, try the Joe’s Goals app. This app allows users to visually track their commitment and encourages them to stick to their plans. While it may seem insignificant, the simple act of noting your progress serves as a constant reminder to stay on track.
These apps will help you monitor your progress and make 2015 the best year yet.
