Still looking for your perfect way to prevent jet lag? A new product based on Navy SEAL research may be able to help.
FlyKitt is a system to eliminate jet lag that’s already used by professional sports teams and military units, and now it can help you, too. The system combines supplements, light and diet to adjust your body ahead of arriving to your destination, so you can land ready to go.
FlyKitt works off the assumption the changes in air pressure you experience while flying cause an inflammatory response in the body, which then makes it impossible for your circadian rhythm to adjust to a new time zone quickly. Based on your flight schedule, travelers can use the FlyKitt system’s dietary supplements, light-filtering glasses and other items to essentially hack the body’s responses.
FlyKitt, priced at $199, includes app access and step-by-step instructions to make using the system easy; supplements supporting immunity and energy; light-filtering glasses; and a circadian shift drink mix that impacts your brain, gut and liver to help your circadian rhythm adjust. For an upgrade, your system kit can also include professional-grade compression socks and a blood flow simulator. The kit only works for one flight, but your next flight system refill comes at a discount, at $99 per refill.
