Here are four new apps for your Apple Watch that take traveling to the next level.
Babbel
This isn’t the first translator app available, but Babbel for the Apple Watch has some cool new features that make it stand out. Analyzing your GPS location, Babbel will provide appropriate words relating to where you are, translating “luggage” in an airport and “coffee” in a café.
Hole19
This is a must have for golfers. Hole19 is a comprehensive app that records score, log shot distances and track puts, in addition to providing hole routing and course stats. This free app will automatically sync to the iPhone version, which also provides course maps and other information.
Apple Maps
Yes, this is an obvious choice and a built-in app, but don’t automatically assume the other map apps are better. TripAdvisor and Booking.com are already baked into the program, and its ability to pair with your iPhone’s app makes it a convenient solution for finding directions.
Weather Nerd
This, on the other hand, is much better than the stock weather app. Swipe between three panes for today’s weather, hourly conditions and the weekly forecast. The Apple Watch app is a stripped-down version of the feature-heavy iPhone app.
