Airlines

Frontier rolls out some new changes in 2025, including first-class seating, free seat upgrades for select travelers and more.

Set to debut in late 2025, the new first-class seating will be available in the first two rows of the aircraft. In early 2025, Frontier will begin providing complimentary seat upgrades for those with Elite Gold loyalty program status or higher, including upgrades to the new first class when it’s available. Those with Platinum or Diamond Elite loyalty program status will enjoy free airfare for one companion per flight, beginning mid-year. Additionally, Frontier will begin allowing loyalty members to redeem their Frontier Miles for things like baggage and seat upgrades.

“Travelers should expect more from their airline and, in 2025, Frontier will deliver as we continue our transformation into the most rewarding airline in the sky,” said Barry Biffle, CEO, Frontier Airlines. “We’ve listened to customers, and they want more — more premium options, like first class seating, attainable seat upgrades, more free travel for their companions and the ability to use miles on more than just airfare. These changes represent an exciting new chapter in our transformation into ‘The New Frontier’.”
