The Inflatable 5K is the perfect race for the fit fanatic looking for a new challenge. The extreme obstacle course is made up entirely of inflatables, meant to surprise you at every turn.
The course consists of a mix of terrain and trail running. Obstacles include a ball pit, scalable walls and bump-filled slides. Runners depart in waves with the first at 8:45 a.m. and the last starting at 12 p.m. Food, entertainment and Inflatable 5K gear await racers at the finish line. You can register as an individual, or start a team to run with your friends and family. Registration includes your bib number, wristband with start time, t-shirt and medal. Prices vary, so sign-up early to make sure you get the best deal. Day of registration is available with fees ranging from $75–100.
The Inflatable 5K gives back to local communities. The race chooses a local charity partner as the sole benefactor of each race. The charity receives funds raised by runner donations and day of and online fundraising.
Dozens of races are still open for registration in 2015. Participating cities include Philadelphia, New York City, Washington, D.C., Tampa, Atlanta, Orlando and Miami. Sign up for the Inflatable 5K newsletter for more information about 2016 races.
