If you’re an avid golfer, you’ve probably been inundated with countless products and DVDs saying they can cut strokes off your handicap. You might have even tried a few, but sadly not many of them live up to their claims. Aiming to buck the trend is SensoGlove, a digital golf glove that seeks to improve your game not by any magical panacea, but by measuring and improving your form.
For many golfers, it is difficult to develop an outline for maintaining proper form. In addition to your swing, a golfer’s grip is vital for power and accuracy, though sadly many people get into the habit of using a tight grip early on in their game. SensoGlove claims to reverse this problem by encouraging a looser grip with instant audio and visual feedback. Four small finger sensors feed pressure information to the glove’s removable computer that contains an LCD screen display with grip, angle and pressure information.
Users can even adjust the pressure sensors to the individual’s hand and shot using two small buttons on the glove. This makes sense, as softer shots like chipping and putting will require higher sensitivity to accurately measure less pressure. The glove itself is made of high-quality white leather that is both breathable and comfortable.
