Hard Rock International announced plans to open Hard Rock Hotel Dallas-Forth Worth, in the newly announced The Grand Alps Village development in Grand Prairie, Texas. This is the future site of the most advanced indoor snow facility in the world, and the new hotel’s 300 rooms will overlook the facility. Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2015, with expected completion in 2018. Start planning early for this one-of-a-kind experience.
The hotel will feature live music performances, the Rock Spa and the Body Rock workout facility. Food and beverage options will be available throughout the hotel and the Grand Alps development.
The 350,000-square-foot snow ski facility and a movie theater are also expected to open in the first phase, at a cost of $215 million. The ski resort will be open year-round and include restaurants and specialty retail.
