Hilton Hotels & Resorts debuted in Kazakhstan recently, with the new Hilton Astana. The 253-guestroom property features a bold, futuristic exterior and a modern, luxurious interior, with plenty of event space and an on-site spa.
“Hilton is committed to providing our signature hospitality in the places that matter most to travelers, which is why we are so pleased to introduce the brand’s first hotel in Astana,” said Andreas Lackner, regional head, brand management, Hilton. “Astana recently hosted Expo 2017, raising its profile internationally and setting the scene for the city for years to come. While already recognized as a key business and MICE destination, travelers to Astana can also marvel at the city’s impressive futuristic architecture and visit a range of cultural attractions including the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, the Independence Palace and the Batirek Monument.”
Hilton Astana is located right next to Silk Way, the city’s largest shopping mall, and offers access to transportation for quick transfer to the rest of the city. It’s also just a few miles from Astana International Airport.
The event space is comprised of nine meeting rooms and a 900-person ballroom. The hotel is also near the main congress hall of the city, for events of 5,000 people or more. The eforea spa at Hilton Astana is one of the largest spas in the city, and provides an indoor swimming pool, 24-hour fitness center, nine treatment rooms, saunas and a Turkish bath.
Dining options include Cloud 9 (the only hotel rooftop bar with a terrace in the city); The Park Kitchen, for traditional Kazakh cuisine; and Axis, a lobby lounge for drinks and snacks.
The contemporary rooms include a selection of executive guestrooms, which come with access to the Executive Lounge, for private meeting space, complimentary drinks and snacks and skyline views. The large presidential suite includes a living room, study, dining room and kitchen.
“We are delighted to have opened Hilton Astana, which is poised to become a destination in its own right in the city, offering travelers from across the globe unmatched experiences and hospitality,” said Stephan Reiter, general manager, Hilton Astana. “Guests can overlook the city from the stunning rooftop bar, relax in the spacious eforea spa or take advantage of the events space that is perfect for meetings and gatherings of all sizes.”
