Situated in the Himalayan foothills, Ananda integrates ancient Indian practices with modern techniques, incorporating traditional Chinese medicine, physiotherapy and emotional healing. The resort provides women with comprehensive holistic care on often-overlooked health concerns including fertility, menopause and menstrual health. Guests may also explore programs targeted toward chronic ailments including diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory issues, sleep disorders and skin conditions. On the spiritual side, the resort offers sound healing, mantra chanting and spiritual studies workshops.
In 2024, Ananda introduced a comprehensive digital management system, allowing for more personalized experiences. By combining ancient practices with modern technologies, the resort offers guests a well-rounded journey utilizing three paths: deepening ancient wisdom, evidence-based innovation and personalized wellness journeys.

“What has really changed in a big way is the depth and focus of what we offer now. Today, our programs are comprehensive and deeply immersive, with stays lasting between two weeks to sometimes two months. Diagnostics have become a core part of our approach to ensure that our offerings are evidence-based and outcome-driven. What I am most proud of is how we have extended our role in our clients’ wellness journeys. With year-round consultations and follow-ups, we have moved beyond being just a retreat to becoming an integral part of their well-being process,” said Aashica Khanna, executive director, Ananda in the Himalayas.
