Fadden’s General Store & Maple Sugarhouse
Vermont isn’t the only New England state known for its maple syrup. Experience the sweet taste of New Hampshire’s maple syrup scene for yourself at this general store around since the 1890s. The store has won Best Maple Syrup in New Hampshire five times and offers not only the most maple syrup in the area, but also souvenirs, as well.
This 1840s general store was a hat box factory before being converted into the community’s only store by two tea distributors. Now, the store offers a little bit of everything, from ready-to-eat lunches to groceries to local products. Grab a gift basket or bottle of wine, alongside one of the sandwiches named after famous folks from New Hampshire.

Apr 10, 2025Study Shows More Millennials Are Cruising
A new study from Cruisebound shows more millennials are cruising, as the average age of cruisers trends downward. The study discovered the largest portion of cruisers are ages 25 to 44, making up 45 percent of all cruise bookers. Seniors, aged 55 and up, currently only account for 26 percent of cruise bookers. The platform theorizes this trend in younger cruisers is brought about by cruise lines’ increasing offering of family-friendly experiences and shorter cruises that can be enjoyed over a long weekend.
