Homesick Candles, founded in 2016, help customers feel close to the people, places and moments that matter most, even from far away, using the sense most tied to memory — scent.
The makers of Homesick create scented candles by doing serious research, including talking to 30–100 locals, visiting destinations, collecting samples and even taking scents from food for each candle they make. After collecting data, creators test hundreds of different scents, while checking in with the community along the way to make sure they find the perfect balance to create an authentic fragrance.
Homesick Candles took off over the past couple years, rapidly gaining loyal fans and repeat customers. Since the launch, Homesick expanded its range to almost 200 different products, representing all things that matter the most, from every U.S. state and various cities and countries to special occasions, people and moments.
Homesick Candles are the perfect gift for travel lovers, family members or friends who might be missing home while away at college.
With the global pandemic ongoing, many people haven’t been able to visit their hometown or spend quality time with their families and friends and some may not be able to spend the holidays with their loved ones. If one of your loved ones is in this position, send them a Homesick candle to let them know you’re thinking about them. Provide them with a little piece of home for the holidays.
