Honeymoon Destination: Amalfi Coast

On a small peninsula just south of Naples sits an idyllic Italian cluster of towns and coastline known as the Amalfi Coast. The seaside paradise is home to some of the world´s most picturesque villages including Positano and Procida, where newlywed couples can escape to a fantasyland of world-class wine and food among a heavenly backdrop.

 

Couples who seek to truly get away can take a daytrip to the island of Capri or saunter down to the Blue Grotto (Grotto Azzurra) for a romantic dusk swim. Active honeymooners will adore the hiking opportunities along the Amalfi Coast. Simply navigating the villages requires a semblance of stamina as the hills can range from a slight incline to extremely steep. Hire a boat or join a boat cruise to view the coast from the sea while sipping limoncello, and sleep away the afternoon on Laurito Beach.
