For those looking for an unconventional bachelor party experience, Whistler in Canada’s British Colombia is the perfect fit. This mountainside ski town may not have the gambling and nightclubs found in typical bachelor party destinations, but ski resort Whistler Blackcomb makes up for it with its 8,171 acres of fresh powder and alpine bowls and more than 200 runs that make it the largest ski resort in North America.
Bachelor crews can check out the Whistler Sliding Center where, for just $150, trained instructors can guide individuals as they dive head first down the former Olympic bobsled tracks.
For the price of $899, guests can experience the Ski With An Olympian Program, where groups of five or less can cut to the front of the ski lift line with one of dozens of Olympic contender guides.
When the members of the bachelor party want to take a break from all the skiing and excitement, they can rest their muscles at the Scandinave Spa. The Scandinave features indoor steam rooms, as well as outdoor hot tubs in the heart of the snowy woods.
When the sun sets, guests can watch the Fire and Ice Show, a mountainside performance. Skiers and snowboarders soar through flaming rings, dancers swing their flaming batons and fireworks loom overhead. Or, the gang can enjoy après, or after hours, at one of the many bars, like the popular Garibaldi Lift Co.
