I was in Brooklyn for a bachelorette party and needed a place to stay in the Greenpoint or Williamsburg neighborhoods. Hotel Le Jolie was located close to my evening plans, so it was the perfect choice.
Hotel Le Jolie offers plenty of amenities including free WiFi, a mini refrigerator, free local calls, an in-room safe, 150-plus channels of DIRECTV, 30 complimentary premium movie channels and limited on-site complimentary parking. The property is a few blocks away from Williamsburg’s most popular restaurants, bars and shops. McCarren Park and Brooklyn Brewery are a short walk from Hotel Le Jolie. Make sure to check out the hotel website for a calendar of Brooklyn events during your stay or to book a Brooklyn-themed special room offer.
My room on the seventh floor was small with a king-size bed. If I was spending more time in the room, I might have felt confined. After a long day, I appreciated the comfortable bed with an orthopedic mattress and allergen-free goose-down comforter. Despite its location next to the busy Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, I did not notice any bothersome noises from traffic.
I had to take an early train, so I opted out of the complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from the L and G subway trains, making my trip to and from Manhattan seamless.
