October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and hotels around the world are joining in the search for a cure. Planning any last-minute getaways this month? Consider these properties and join in the fight against cancer.
The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa launches Pink Princess Month, featuring 10 percent off of all manicures and pedicures performed using any OPI pink nail polishes at The Hibiscus Spa. The discounted proceeds will be donated to the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman’s Chemotherapy Unit. The property will also offer $1 for every signature Pink Cayman Lemonade, a mix of gin, vodka, peach schnapps and lime juice.
The Pretty in Pink cocktail purchase at Hotel Principe di Savoia will contribute to the fight against breast cancer. The drink, a combination of raspberry and pineapple puree, rose petal essence, vanilla sugar and one secret ingredient, is €20, with €5 donated to The Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer.
The Seagate Hotel & Spa in Delray Beach is offering an October spa treatment at Seagate Spa, the Pink-Lady Apple Spice manicure and pedicure, while enjoying a complimentary Pink Lady martini. Valued at $100 through Oct. 31, 10 percent of the proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
