Experience two great things at once: Dollywood and Dollywood’s Great Pumpkin LumiNights. Head to Pigeon Forge sometime before Oct. 28 to take in the 12,000-plus carved pumpkins.
Explore Cheekwood Harvest
For more fall favorite décor in abundant numbers, head to Cheekwood Harvest. The event takes place at the Cheekwood estate in Nashville, where more than 75,000 pumpkins and 4,000 chrysanthemums cover the landscape. The event runs through Oct. 27.
Get in Touch with Some Ghosts at the Mabry-Hazen House
If you’re in Knoxville the week before Halloween, experience a 19th-century séance at the Mabry-Hazen House. The event takes place Oct. 24–27 inside the house museum that’s also home to more than 2,500 artifacts.
Test Your Mettle at the Bell Witch Cave
