Hyatt recently revealed its newest brand, Hyatt Studios, marking the hotel brand’s entry into upper-midscale lodging in the Americas. The announcement coincided with plans for more than 100 Hyatt Studios hotels, with construction expected to begin this year and the first hotels planning to open in 2024.
“Amidst a sea of interchangeable extended-stay competitors, Hyatt Studios hotels will transcend dated notions of value-driven compromise by inviting guests to enjoy both the coziness of a studio apartment and the positive energy of being in a creative studio, all with the quality and contemporary style that is characteristic of Hyatt,” said Amy Weinberg, senior vice president, loyalty, brand marketing & consumer insights, Hyatt.
Hyatt Studios will cater to both extended-stay and shorter length-of-stay leisure and business travelers. The new brand, like sister brands Hyatt Place, Hyatt House and Caption by Hyatt, will offer self-serve amenities and in-room offerings.
The brand will include both guestrooms and suites blending function with all of the expected Hyatt features, including kitchen amenities. The Hyatt Studios food and beverage experience features a complimentary grab-and-go breakfast and a 24-hour market with a wide range of options, from healthy snacks to ready-made meals to sweet and savory treats.
