Food & Drink

Come one, come all to Washington, D.C., for an Instagramable foodie paradise. Each district of the city has a plethora of trendy restaurants to choose from, making it hard to decide where to grab a bite to eat. Grab your camera, put on portrait mode and snap some photos at these must-see spots.

El Techo

This tropical oasis in the heart of the city is the perfect escape to enjoy booming music, great food, fruity drinks and island vibes. Located on an open-air rooftop, El Techo’s menu consists of tacos, burritos, bowls and traditional Spanish desserts. Enjoy people watching from above the sidewalk if you are seated on the balcony or enjoy the bass-filled music with changing lights on the other side of the restaurant. The atmosphere is colorful, relaxed and easygoing.

Rewind by Decades

Neon light art and retro diner seating makes Rewind the perfect backdrop for a social media photo sure to get likes. Setting the mood for the Cherry Blossom Festival, Rewind has flowers dripping from the ceiling, a faux tree that overhangs from the second floor and a flower wall with the perfect lighting to snap some Boomerangs. The sweet menu is perfect for dessert. Cotton candy cheesecake topped with Lucky Charm cereal, mochi and its very own Magic Cookie Bars top the list for sweet treats. Savory brunch and dinner plates are also available.

Gogi Yogi

Get the fire started at this cook-it-yourself Korean BBQ. Instagram followers will love seeing how to chef up a variety of meats accompanied by Banchan of sticky rice, pickled vegetables, potatoes, bean sprouts, marinated cucumbers and kimchi. Take a shot of the sweet soju, enjoy a signature cocktail or sip on an alcoholic slushy while your food cooks. Finish your meal with s’mores the way you like over your fire pit.
