This category awards up-and-coming professional hotel chefs who demonstrate leadership in the hotel dining industry. Nominations will be taken through April 14, 2025, and we will select the winner based on the following criteria:
Culinary Skills: Chefs who demonstrate exceptional cooking skills, creativity and innovation in their dishes, i.e., food and cocktail pairings, flavors and textures, etc.
Passion and Dedication: Genuine passion for cooking and a relentless dedication to the craft are essential. Chefs who are constantly experimenting, learning and pushing boundaries are likely to excel.
Originality and Creativity: Whether through unique flavor combinations, inventive techniques or novel presentation styles
Leadership Skills: Demonstrates leadership qualities such as teamwork, communication, and the ability to inspire and mentor others in the kitchen
Reputation and Recognition: Awards; media coverage; and word-of-mouth praise from fellow chefs, food critics or customers
Social Media Presence: A strong presence on social media platforms helps chefs reach a wider audience, showcase their work, and engage with fans and followers

- Contest to run Aug. 13, 2024 to Apr. 14, 2025
- Winner to be announced during The Trazees award event with 2025 date and venue TBD
- Q&A and winner profile winner on trazeetravel.com and in the Trazee Travel digital edition
- Contest will be promoted in Global Traveler magazine (emphasis on age requirement) and on trazeetravel.com
- Nominee must be 40 years old or younger, and work in a hotel/hotel restaurant. Chefs must be nominated/submitted by PR representatives

Starting Nov. 22 and running through Dec. 31, travelers to downtown Denver will be able to witness a brand-new holiday drone spectacular. This new drone-powered light show will include more than 400 drones taking to the Denver skies, stretching across 400 feet of airspace, 500 feet in the air, for 15 minutes. The shows kick off each night at 7 p.m., with special shows Dec. 2, Dec. 25 and Dec. 31, and will celebrate and depict not only holiday favorite scenery, but also Denver icons such as the Blue Bear and the city’s professional sports teams.
