Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast is often considered one of Europe’s most unspoiled and pristine coastlines, so of course there’s no better way to experience it than paddling by on a kayak. Tofino Expedition’s kayaking trip along the Dalmatian Coast is a wonderful way to take in the epic scenery and even get in touch with the locals.
The trip takes you along the Kornati Archipelago where you’ll wander along stone towns and Venetian palaces surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. While you stop in for a bite you’ll also be contributing to small, local farmers in between swimming in nearly crystal clear waters.
From there you’ll make your way to two different national parks, Kornait and Krka, where you’ll find the world-famous Stradinski Buk waterfall and engage in a pretty epic hike. You’ll also spend part of the day exploring the town of Skradin, which has been standing since ancient Roman times. Afterwards, the tour takes a pit stop at the Saint James Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Other hot spots along the way include Prvic and Zlarin Islands, the Šibenik Archipelago and the port of Trogir, another UNESCO site. You’ll enjoy plenty of opportunities to savor delicious Mediterranean food along the way while experiencing a unique and diverse culture.
These 10-day trips occur through June and September and must be booked in advance. Visit the website to discover how to kayak Croatia today.
