Products / Technology

If you love technology and spend a lot of time outdoors, winter is not your friend. Gloves are often the bane of a touchscreen’s existence, but manufacturers know which way the wind is blowing and have made their products text friendly. Here are some of our favorites for the coming winter.

Timberland Fleece Touchscreen Gloves

Timberland’s lightweight fleece gloves are a deal at $28, and are available in four colors. These comfortable pairs have a snug fit and allow you to use your thumb and index finger with a touchscreen.

North Face ThermoBall Etip

This tech-savvy glove keeps your hands toasty with PrimaLoft © ThermoBall technology, trapping warm air without adding heavy insulation. All five fingers are connected to your phone with conductive fibers instead of just sewn-on panels.

UR Powered Kenan Tech Stretch

The Kenan aims to provide a lightweight and flexible all-purpose glove. A curved wrist cuff is snug against your skin, and the thin fabric stays surprisingly warm, giving you maximum dexterity in the winter. That said, they’re not suitable for single digits or extreme winter conditions.

Mountain Made Genesis Winter Gloves

This pair of touchscreen gloves is great for the outdoors, yet look fashionable as well thanks to form-fitting design and a side zipper. The inside has a quick-drying liner and antibacterial protection to prevent odors from building up.

Glider Gloves

A fan favorite, Glider Gloves are the best all-around winter gloves, balancing warmth, comfort, dexterity and sizing.
