Following the extensive integration process of LAN Airlines and TAM Airlines, LATAM Airlines Group will adopt a single name and identity. The new brand for the largest airline group in Latin America will be LATAM and will unite LAN Airlines and its affiliates in Peru, Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador, with TAM Linhas Aéreas S.A. and its subsidiary TAM Air Transport Mercosur S.A., as well as all affiliated cargo carriers.
The milestone marks the first time an airline group has chosen to consolidate under a single brand and the first time a Latin American-based airline group aspires to be one of the best in the world.
The new logo, inspired by the identity and heritage of the region, features indigo and coral as its main colors. Indigo falls between red and blue, the main brand colors for TAM and LAN. LATAM is currently working on a new corporate brand, approximately a three-year process. It will begin to be visible in early 2016 with a gradual rollout in airports, aircraft, offices, online and on uniforms.
LATAM represents the best option to, from and within Latin America, and under the new brand will create a single travel experience with world-class standards, greater efficiencies and a new culture with the best of both worlds.
