One sport that hasn’t made quite an impact in the West, but is exceedingly popular in much of the world, is cricket. In South Africa in particular they’ve taken a strong liking to the sport.
If you’ve always had a hankering for discovering what this sport is about, The Sport Lived Cricket Academy would like to help. Located in Cape Town, the Cricket Academy offers training to beginners and experienced cricketers alike in a program taught by professional and expert cricket players.
The courses run between four to 11 weeks and come with accommodation and daily training at the Western Province Cricket Club. You’ll be provided with clothing, meals, social events and even tickets to other sporting events around town during your stay.
They even pick you up and drop you off at the airport.
Training includes not only hands-on experience with top South African players, but Pilates sessions, pool sessions and matches with other trainees and players. On your downtime, you’re free to explore all that Cape Town and the surrounding areas have to offer.
You’ll also be enlisted into a local sports club so you can practice your newfound skills on other players, as well as enjoy all the amenities of being part of a members-only group. This thing is fancy, guys.
The company is based out of the United Kingdom, but is open to all.
