The LG Pocket Photo Printer is out to bring back the physical photo. In a world dominated by digital photos, the hassle of printing photos has caused the physical photo to all but disappear. By making it easy to print photos anywhere, the Pocket Printer is putting physical photos back on the map.

The printer is made to work with smartphones and tablets over a Bluetooth or near-field communication connection. Photos print out at two by three inches in under a minute, though it takes the printer a few minutes to warm up. The device is 72x120x24mm, or about the same size as an iPhone, but about twice as thick. It does not use ink but instead uses a special paper loaded with colors extracted during the printing process. These papers must be purchased separately and run around $15 for 30 sheets.

The Pocket Printer calls to mind photo booths, and it would be easy to imagine their applications would be similar. Because of its specifications, the printer is meant to travel, which begs the question, where are you traveling that you need to have a printer photo immediately? Thus the photo booth: social situations in which you want to share memories with the people around you would be the most immediate use of the printer.

Overall, the Pocket Printerr is a rather expensive toy at $150 plus the price of the paper. For travelers and socialites who want to be able to share their memories immediately, and can afford it, the LG Pocket Photo Printer is a valuable device. Anyone else; however, may wish to wait until they get home to print their photos. Learn more at lg.com.

Where to Find the Best Stargazing Spots in Ireland

This year, the Northern Lights put on quite the display across Ireland, but don’t think these lights are the only thing you can see in Ireland. In fact, many spots across the country provide some of the best opportunities to stargaze thanks to low levels of light pollution. Ireland has three International Dark Sky Parks and even more spots which, although not accredited, are worth a visit for anyone wishing to see the sky in its unfiltered form.

Go Teepee Dining on the Beach at This Puerto Vallarta Resort

During a recent trip to Puerto Vallarta, I stayed at Casa Velas, where we also had access to all of the restaurants, experiences and events going on at its sister property Velas Vallarta. One night for dinner, our group put on our best tropical attire and headed to Velas Vallarta for a Teepee Dinner right on the beach.
