When it comes to gay travel, it doesn’t get much easier to find a place to feel at home than in Paris. The city is teeming with gay hotspots and even has its own district where the streets are lined with restaurants, clubs and shops catering to LGBT men and women.
Marais, located in the 4th arrondissment of the city, is the heart of the gay community and home to popular cafes and hotels in which LGBT tourists like to stay. Take time out from your morning to sip coffee and munch on a croissant at Open Café, one of the most popular gay-friendly cafés in Marais and Paris. It’s a great place to people watch.
For nightlife, the metro will take you to the most popular party in the city, SCREAM at Summer Residency. Lines tend to span down the block, so get here early if you hope to get in. After Rouge is another popular dance club option that actually runs all the way from Sunday morning well into the following night.

Paris is also home to plenty of cruising spots and saunas, like Le Dépôt and Gym Louvre, if that’s your cup of tea.
Of course, shopping is synonymous with Paris and there are no shortages of places for you to drop a few euros on clothes or trinkets. Just walk around and you’re sure to find something you love.
Be sure to stop at the Moulin Rouge for dinner and a show while you’re there.
