Lockwood Hotel recently opened in Waterville, Maine, marking the first new boutique hotel opening in downtown Waterville in more than a century. The property was developed by Colby College and managed by Charlestowne Hotels.
“Lockwood Hotel is a testament to everything Waterville and central Maine have to offer, and we are eager to introduce the city to a new audience of discerning travelers,” said Jordan Rowan, general manager, Lockwood Hotel. “Waterville’s central location makes Lockwood Hotel the ideal gateway for experiencing the best of Maine – from the nearby hiking trails and renowned Colby College Museum of Art to Acadia National Park, Sugarloaf Ski Area, the mid-coast, and Portland.”
The hotel is home to 53 guestrooms and suites with views of Waterville’s Main Street. The modern, spacious rooms feature a natural color palette with warm wood tones and blue and green accents. The on-site restaurant, Front & Main, offers a hyper-local menu boasting ingredients from Maine’s farms, fields, bays and oceans. There is a collection of curated artwork from Colby College Museum of Art throughout the hotel’s public spaces, reflecting Waterville’s booming arts scene. Host your meeting or event at Lockwood Hotel. The property features a private dining room and meeting venue for up to 32 guests.
Guests also have unparalleled access to Waterville’s flourishing downtown, plus nearby outdoor attractions.
