The Winter Olympics may be over, but it’s not too late to try your hand at becoming a curling champion. M Social Times Square New York unveiled a brand-new curling rink at its rooftop bar and lounge Beast & Butterflies.
“We are thrilled to introduce this fun, new offering to our guests and bring our community together in a safe and exciting outdoor setting,” said William van Wassenhove, manager, M Social Times Square New York. “… We know how much of a draw the sport of curling is so we can’t wait to be the only hotel in which guests can showcase their skills in the city. This will further introduce New Yorkers and visitors to the beautiful Beast & Butterflies space and highlight the stunning views we have to offer.”
Reservations are available in 45-minute intervals for $30 per person; admission also includes a Bacardi-spiked warm apple cider cocktail for each registered guest. Reserve by emailing RSVP@msocialhotelnewyork.com. The heated, winterized curling tent is open daily, noon to 10 p.m.
Beast & Butterflies, a 7,500-square-foot wraparound terrace above Times Square, opened in summer 2021, offering carefully curated cocktails by Frank Caiafa, consulting beverage director, M Social Times Square New York, and author of the Waldorf Astoria Bar Book. M Social Times Square New York is the brand’s first outpost in the United States.
