Madame Tussauds reimagined its flagship location in the heart of Times Square with new theming and key wax figures in its party area full of A-Listers, now dubbed the Glow Gala. The room includes 19 celebrities, including new, never-before-seen wax figures of Ariana Grande and P. Diddy. Many of the other wax figures, like RuPaul and Lady Gaga, don illuminated looks inspired by the Met Gala. Katy Perry’s wax figure, suspended from the ceiling, wears a recreation of her 2019 Met Gala chandelier dress.

“We’re thrilled to officially open the Glow Gala at Madame Tussauds New York – it’s an incredible experience featuring figures of today’s brightest and most recognized stars,” said Tiago Mogadouro, head of marketing, Madame Tussauds New York. “This new gala theme is modern, fresh and characteristically New York and we can’t wait for the public to experience this part of the attraction.”

The area comes to life with state-of-the-art projection technology and a dramatic lighting extravaganza, all choreographed to a New York City-centric soundtrack. Floral walls and neon art offer backdrops for photo ops.

Other recent improvements to Madame Tussauds New York include the recently added MARVEL 4D Universe cinema experience, the expanded MARVEL Hall of Heroes and an upcoming interactive horror-themed experience this fall.
