Cape May, NJ, has some of the best beaches and historical attractions in New Jersey. As a New Jersey resident, sometimes taking a weekend trip down to Cape May after a long workweek is the perfect getaway. A few weeks ago, I took a trip to Cape May and discovered a great restaurant.
I arrived in Cape May early on a Saturday morning with an empty stomach. It was such a beautiful fall day, I wanted breakfast near the water. I walked along Boardwalk and finally stumbled upon McGlade’s, right next to the pier.
The hostess greeted me graciously and led me to a table looking over the beach. The view was absolutely beautiful. There was barely anyone on the beach and the ocean sparkled on the horizon.
For breakfast, I had TJ’s Omelet, which is by far the best omelet I have ever tasted. The omelet was cooked perfectly and stuffed with incredible amounts of crab, shrimp and cheese.
