Guests at Mohegan Sun Pocono have more to look forward to in 2022 as the resort plans to officially debut three new venues, starting this month with Embers Terrace, an outdoor terrace bar. This summer, The Hive Taphouse opens in the former Bar Louie space, alongside new Topgolf Swing Suites.
“These capital improvements as part of Project Starlight represent some of the most thrilling enhancements that we have ever announced at MSP,” said Anthony Carlucci, president and general manager, Mohegan Sun Pocono. “These offerings will not only bolster our live entertainment, but they also bring a relaxing and fun-filled outdoor experience as well as an amazing Topgolf Swing Suite venue. All 238 of our hotel rooms will have a whole new look and feel by the end of the year as well!”
Embers Terrace features a 25-person bar, a partially covered dining area with a late fare menu (starting in June), hand-built fire pits, acoustic entertainment and a lawn area for various activities. The drink menu highlights some of the local region’s wines.
Early summer brings The Hive Taphouse, with 20 beers on tap. This venue’s live music stage will also boast an entertainment calendar of the top musical acts in the area. All major sporting events will play out on more than 12 high-definition televisions, and the menu will range from flatbreads and wings to tacos, macaroni and cheese and more.
Inside The Hive Taphouse, guests will find Topgolf Swing Suites, boasting two Full Swing simulators. The simulated golfing experience comes to life across a massive screen with a variety of multisport games, complemented by HDTVs, lounge seating and food and beverage offerings. Guests can play nine or 18 holes on more than 80 famous courses, or other simulated games like Baseball Pitching, The Quarterback Challenge, Zombie, Dodgeball and more.
Additionally, a major revamp is underway at Mohegan Sun Pocono. By the end of 2022, the 238 guestrooms will be completely renovated.
