Boulder, Colorado, recently welcomed its first new hotel since 2018. Moxy Boulder, on “University Hill” near CU Boulder campus, features 189 thoughtfully designed guestrooms, complete with more than 5,300 square feet of indoor and outdoor function spaces, state-of-the-art fitness center, and lobby with A Bar Moxy and lounge area to indulge in a Got Moxy cocktail or mocktail. The lobby also includes food offerings partnered with Culinary Creative Group.
Guests are transported to college days with a library feel in the lobby, with custom desk lamps, deep banquettes and sofas adorning the space. Upon entering, a sculpture crafted by local artist Emmett Culligan greets guests, and a series of vintage Boulder concert posters embrace Boulder’s lively atmosphere. Outdoor lounges spaces feature fire pits and comfortable seating.
In addition to these fun spaces, Moxy Boulder also includes a walk-through courtyard open to the public, complete with ground-floor retail space and several food outlets slated to open early next year, including Michelin Bib-Gourmand award winner Mister Oso and Aviano Coffee.
“We couldn’t be more excited and ready to introduce the Moxy Boulder to the Boulder community which will bring a new vibrant center to the Hill in Boulder,” said Matt Swisher, general manager, Moxy Boulder. “Our collective efforts have really paid off and this property is sure to be a favorite of travelers and locals alike.”
Moxy Boulder sits directly across from University of Colorado.
